Pam Holmes
Pam Holmes is a Florida-based author, poet, and educator. She has spent her career at the crossroads of writing, design, and publishing. She has a long history in journalism and graphic design, plus 15 years of experience in marketing and leading creative design teams, so she understands both sides of a book: the words on the page and the way they reach readers. She holds an MA in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University and teaches college composition. Her work has appeared in Emerald Coast Review, The Diarist, and Philosophy Today, and she is a member of PEN America and Poets & Writers.
Her debut novel, Praise God for Pasties (Pink Crow Press, 2026), is a literary psychological thriller that takes apart Hollywood myths about human trafficking. It follows one woman's harrowing path from performer to prisoner to predator. Each of its 47 chapters is titled after a song, and the book comes with a companion Spotify playlist.
As editor, Pam brings a journalist's precision, a teacher's eye, and a writer's instincts to every manuscript. She champions voices that unsettle, provoke, and refuse to play it safe. She lives and writes on Florida's Gulf Coast, where the beauty and the shadows are never far apart.

Rob Perez
Rob Perez is a military veteran, songwriter, and producer who has spent the better part of 20 years refining his craft. He has engineered demos and EPs for himself and other artists along Florida's Gulf Coast while performing in numerous acts, most recently the hard rock band The Helvetica Effect. Today he brings the lessons he learned from working closely with artists, producers, engineers, and industry professionals into a professional studio setting as co-owner of Paradigm Logic Studios.
At Pink Crow Press, Rob gives our stories a voice and a soundtrack. He created the original score and sound effects for the serialized audio drama of Jekyll; or, The Doctor's Records, which is streaming now wherever you get your podcasts. He also recorded the novel's forthcoming audiobook. His years of promoting his own music, along with his sharp eye for graphic design and cinematic videography, help shape how Pink Crow books look, sound, and reach readers.

J.D. Justice
J.D. Justice is a self-taught artist from South Carolina who has called Panama City home for about a decade. Art started as a hobby until a studio painting class sparked a lasting love of the medium. He went on to teach art at a paint-and-sip studio, in elementary school, and in middle and high school digital art. In 2017 he co-founded Palmetto Paint PC, a nonprofit that uses paint-class fundraisers to give back to Bay County.
Since 2021, murals and public art have been his main focus. He has created more than 80 public pieces in and beyond Bay County. His style grew out of drawing video game and comic book characters as a kid. Today it draws on pop culture and illustration, and it adapts easily to different looks, which makes him a natural fit for designing covers as distinctive as the books inside them.
For Pink Crow Press, J.D. designed the paperback cover of Praise God for Pasties, the cover of Theodore Siren's Jekyll; or, The Doctor's Records, and the cover for our anthology, Trinkets from the Murder (of Crows).
